preface

if you can't dream big, why dream at all?

as a veteran of portland's bike fun scene (particularly bike dance) i want to see something bigger.

bike dance is becoming increasingly publicized but generally fits into somewhat narrow genres. there's visual art and writing out there, some inspiring, some not. all the welders out there who are building bikes. musicians performing songs (original or not) about bikes and bike culture.

is there a way to bring it together?

last summer i had the opportunity to perform with the sprockettes at new belgium's tour de fat festival. they've got some amazing infrastructure, but i'd like to do it better. a sponsorship by a company is one thing, but the whole thing run by a brewer?

there's so many people with a variety of skills out there, every little bit of effort changes the world in a small way. let's get the wheel rolling and see what we can do.
