"it is our duty, as sentient beings, to shape the world to be closer to that of our dreams."
think about it.

ideals
i want to create a show using the resources (objects, talents and skills) we've got before aquiring new.
i want to unite people from all communities who have something they wish to contribute and hold common goals (transcending religion, sex and locale/nationality).
i want to encourage collaboration between all parties.
i want this to be fun!
there're all these performers out there already: bike dance, musicians, spoken word, clowning, other circus... let's collaborate and make something bigger! not into performing yourself? we need wordsmiths, playwrights, mechanics, builders, choreographers, visual artists and beyond to get something like this off the ground.
performance and workspace should be comfortable for everyone, whether they are a part of the core group or not. leave your little fights at the door.

preface
if you can't dream big, why dream at all?
as a veteran of portland's bike fun scene (particularly bike dance) i want to see something bigger.
bike dance is becoming increasingly publicized but generally fits into somewhat narrow genres. there's visual art and writing out there, some inspiring, some not. all the welders out there who are building bikes. musicians performing songs (original or not) about bikes and bike culture.
is there a way to bring it together?
last summer i had the opportunity to perform with the sprockettes at new belgium's tour de fat festival. they've got some amazing infrastructure, but i'd like to do it better. a sponsorship by a company is one thing, but the whole thing run by a brewer?
there's so many people with a variety of skills out there, every little bit of effort changes the world in a small way. let's get the wheel rolling and see what we can do.
